Alitrax has built into the system live hardware and software logging that reports all hardware issues directly back to our support team where we can proactively alert you when something is not working at optimum.

Support is based in Australia and New Zealand and all issues can be rectified remotely using Alitrax tailored remote desktop solutions. KartSport New Zealand clubs and members can be assured that Alitrax will be here for the long term to continue to support tracks both in New Zealand and Australia.

Developed entirely by Alitrax International Pty Ltd in Australia and New Zealand and in conjunction with many motor racing circuits and officials, the engineering and manufacture of Alitrax products are managed entirely by Nautech Group of companies.

Developed as a purpose-built product, the Alitrax Circuit Control system is designed to enhance the safety, visibility and reliability at Karting events for not only the drivers but officials and circuit operators as well.

A comprehensive racing intelligence, lighting and control system, Alitrax has been in use for over 8 years and has been adopted many of the best karting tracks in Australasia, the Middle East and North America.

FLAG POINT LIGHT

Robust Manufacture:

The Flag Point LED’s are encased within a robust polycarbonate housing that is specifically designed to meet the requirements of emergency services. Our product range of lightbar is subjected to rigorous validation testing within our own testing lab as well as external testing authorities. The plastics are manufactured to our standards within New Zealand ensuring we have the very best ultraviolet (UV) protection to minimize the chance of the lenses discolouring after a period of time in harsh sunlight. The optics used in our LED panels are also designed and manufactured by ourselves to the same rigorous standards. The strength of the polycarbonate means that minimal damage will occur even hit by a vehicle.

Mounting:

The Mounting of the Flag Points has been designed to allow quick reconfiguration depending on track layout. The lightweight pole and the strong aluminium base improves the safety of the driver should they impact the lights. The total weight of the light is approx. 5KG and can be easily redeployed if required

Validation:

Our electronics are designed and tested to meet or exceed automotive standards. Temperature testing in our test lab environmental chambers is typically from -20°C to +70°C operating temperature and -40°C to +120°C storage temp.

Operation:

The Flag Point Light communicates with the race control software and provides 2-way communication. The Race Control PC shows the voltage and signal strength of each flag point light and its current status. The CCS display will not change the FPL status unless confirmation is received from the FPL acknowledging that it has changed to the correct light output. This allows your track to be 100% confident that all systems are robust and working at all times regardless of line of sight to the FPL. Flash patterns are able to be customised and the flag point lights are able to mimic the start light at the first corner or act as a pit lane exit light if required in certain situations

START LIGHT

Alitrax Start-Lights can be controlled from the starter’s box as well as from the race control CCS (Circuit Control System) touch screen PC. The race starter is able to use the powerful air horns located on the start lights (Optional) to automate clear the grid or gain the attraction of people on the grid. Race control can automatically sound the horn-based on either a race practice or race start sequence ensuring that no mistakes are made during these important sequences.

The system is powered via 110V-240V mains power with UPS backup (supplied by the client) to ensure 100% reliability in all situations.

The start lights have been in operation for over eight years and provided unparalleled reliability. The Alitrax start lights have been operated in temperatures exceeding 40 degrees Celsius (104F) in the shade at many events. Alitrax lab tests our products from - 20 degrees Celsius to +70 degrees Celsius (158F) ambient temperature.

CIK Compliance: The Alitrax lights have the ability to be configured for all known start sequences used by CIK sanctioned events including series specific starting sequences.

The fact our system is built from the ground up to provide a first-class safety system means we are not using technology that could cause reliability issues for your track during important race meetings.

Easy to Service: The Alitrax Start light mounting is held by 2 brackets allowing for very quick removal for servicing purposes. The controller for the Start light is mounted at ground level and only 24V and data is sent to the lights themselves.

Warning Siren (Optional): The Alitrax start light can have a 120db Air Horn mounted.

LAP COUNTER

The Alitrax Lap counter screen is designed for tracks that want to provide lap counting to the drivers and spectators controlled via integration into MYLAPS Orbits software.

LapCounter:

The Single Lap counter is a high-resolution 300mmx600mm Screen that is located post the start-finish timing loop to allow all karts including the leading kart to view the remaining laps

Lap Counter and Penalty Display:

The addition of an extra penalty display provides a full 600mm x 600mm screen to display the penalty and kart number in addition to the lap counter-information.Located post the start-finish timing loop to allow all karts including the leading kart to view the remaining laps

Chequered Flag:

Both the single lap counter (300mm x 600mm) and the combined Penalty and Lap counter (Prefered option: 600mm x 600mm) have the chequered flag display facility. This chequered flag display is automatic due to being integrated with MYLAPS

NOTE: Lap Count will count down then display the Last Lap and then the Chequered Flag, this feature is automatically linked through Orbits. The Lap Count is displayed in the upper half of the display with the lower half for penalties.

When there are no penalties, the Last Lap will be full screen. Chequered is also full screen.Price for stand-alone Unit if purchased separately to KartSport Package:
