Briggs LO206 Information & Engine Register
The Briggs & Stratton LO206 engine is produced especially for competitions organised under the control of KartSport New Zealand and its affiliated Clubs and Managements. This ensures a high degree of engine parity and strong supply, service and spare parts back up from the sole NZ Briggs & Stratton Distributor, Briggs & Stratton NZ Ltd.
The Briggs & Stratton LO206 engine has been chosen to power the future of our Junior (11 to under 16 years) and Senior (15+ years) Briggs classes. The LO206 engine has revolutionised "grassroots karting" in North America over the last few years, providing a simple, very cost-effective option with low running costs, excellent parity and most of all, FUN racing.
There is a Briggs & Stratton Kart Dealer near you where you can purchase your LO206 engine.
