KARTSPORT LICENSING & APP
The official KartSport New Zealand Licence Application Form is now available online. You will be able to access your digital licence immediately after application through the KartSport New Zealand App, but you are unable to race on your licence until it is approved by KartSport New Zealand.
Drivers can register online for one of four different Licence types:
- Competition Licence
- Practice Licence
- Vintage Licence
- One Day Competition Licence
NOTE: You must first be a member of a KartSport New Zealand Affiliated Club to apply for a Competition, Practice or Vintage Licence.
KartSport New Zealand Competition, Practice and Vintage Licences, (and transponder rental/subscriptions) are valid for a continuous 12 month period commencing on 1st September and ending on 31st August the following year.
You can pay for your Licence online by credit card or by direct debit.
To complete a Licence Application you will require:
- A current head and shoulders photo (without headgear/cap) for display on your digital licence.
- Transponder Number (if you own your own transponder)
- If Under 18 years old, proof of age is required (Digital copy of your birth certificate or passport to attach to your application)
Process:
- Select your home Club from the list below
- Select the Licence type you require
- Complete the registration form. You do not need a transponder for a One Day Licence.
- You will then receive three emails:
- Confirmation Email
- Transaction Receipt
- Digital Licence Username and Password.
- Set your password for the App
- Download our App from Google Play or App Store.
- Login to the App to view your licence.
- Present your digital Licence when you sign in at the club.
